          Chinese (Oriental) Medicine

Duties and Responsibilities: Oriental medicine practitioner’s use forms of         acupuncture through what Chinese say is energy. It treats a variety of ailments like    headaches, back pain, arthritis, or other illnesses. They identify patterns of imbalances within the body’s energy level and work to readjust fluids or tissues in order to keep the body in balance and relieve pain. They use acupuncture, cupping, acupressure, and herbal supplements that are applied to specific body parts or tissues.
 Salary: $61,000 per year.
Education: In order to become an oriental medicine practitioner, you must have Bachelor’s degree in biology or another medical related field, then they must fill state requirements for practicing oriental medicine. Most states require students to work as an intern or apprentice for a specific number of hours in order to become certified. Then they must take an examination to become certified through the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine.
Reflection: I don't think I would like to become an oriental practitioner because they work with needles and other ways of healing people, I personally don't like needles. Also they need to be careful when they are trying to heal you because with any mistake they  make they can make the person feel worse or even hurt them.
