Airline
Pilots
Duties and
Responsibilities: Airline pilots fly and navigate planes, helicopters, and
other aircraft. They transport people and cargo safely to their destinations
and usually spend most of their time away from home. They also check for
weather and see if it’s a good day to fly or not.
Salary:
$114,200
Education:
In order to become an airline pilot you must begin as a commercial pilot they
usually just need a high school diploma. After becoming a commercial pilot you
must have a Bachelor’s degree to become an airline pilot. Also they must pass
the Airline Transport Pilot (ATP).
Reflection: I
wouldn’t like to be an airline pilot because they spend a lot of time away from
home and I wouldn’t want that. Also they must be sure they can be able to
control a plane and know what to do if there’s an emergency and I would most likely
panic especially because there in the air. It pays well but they have to do a
lot of things that I wouldn’t want to do.
