Electrocardiograph Technician
Duties and Responsibilities:  Electrocardiograph technicians explain to patients and attach electrodes to them to prepare for an EKG test. The electrodes are attached to the EKG machine and it measures electrical impulses from the heart. With the EKG machine it can help the doctors see what is wrong with the patient’s heart. An electrocardiograph technician may work in the insurance industry, clinics, hospitals, or medical laboratories.
Salary: $25,998 - $44,062
Education: In order to become an electrocardiograph technician you must complete a certificate program or on the job training. Some courses that you may take in a certificate program are anatomy, CPR, EKG analysis, diagnostic electrocardiography, and electrocardiogram techniques.  In most states they require those technicians to be licensed and they also ask for certification. You must also have good communicating skills to be able to explain to the patients what they are going through and to calm them down if they get agitated.
Reflection: I think that this is a good job to have because it seems really easy and it does not have a lot of educational requirements. Another thing is that it is a way to help people when they have trouble with their hearts maybe you can save a life and that will make you feel good about yourself. I would actually like to have this job because I think I have good communicating skills.
