Western Oregon vs. Central Washington

Summary: In this softball game it was Sara Tucholsky’s first home run ever made in her whole life. She was so happy because it was her first and it went over the fence and she ran but she didn’t touch first base. As she was running back to first she fell tore her knee ligament. She wasn’t at first base yet so she crawled until she got there. No one knew what to do until two team mates, Mallory and Liz, had the idea to carry her to all the bases and complete her first home run. When they turned to see the crowd they saw emotional faces and tears. Their coach was so proud of them and Sara and her coach Pam were thankful. Even though that torn knee ligament ended her softball career she will never forget what those two girls did for her.
