Military Medical Opportunities
                                           Psychiatrist
Duties and Responsibilities: An army psychiatrist examines, diagnoses, and treats or prescribes a course of treatment for mental or emotional disabilities, illnesses, intellectual disabilities, or situational maladjustment. They also conduct and supervise patient care and conduct medical research on diseases or military importance.
Compensation: 30 days of vacation paid annually, no-cost or low-cost medical and dental care, and Noncontributory retirement benefits with 20 years of qualifying service
Requirements: You must have the ability to operate while under stress, apply critical thinking skills, make decisions and translate those skills to battlefield conditions. You must also have the technical skills and the ability to apply the appropriate treatment or procedure at the right moments.
Reflection: I would not like to become a psychiatrist from the military because they don’t pay you with money they pay you with benefits. Also that would be a lot of work to work where there are people who fight for our country and there is constant battles and blood.
