Medical Surveillance Technician
Duties and
Responsibilities: A medical surveillance technician conducts pre-placement and physical,
annual medical surveillance, first response to on-site medical emergencies and
pre-employment and random exam drug screening. They are also responsible for assessing
and treating first aid injuries and/or refer to appropriate level of medical
care.

Education:
To be a medical surveillance technician you must have an associate’s degree and
2 years related experience or a high school diploma or a GED and 5 years of related
experience.
Reflection: I
would not like to become a medical surveillance technician because it seems
like a hard job and I don’t like hard jobs so this job wouldn't be right for
me. Also it kind of takes a while to get to the position where you win plenty
of money.
