Dermatologist
Duties and Responsibilities: A dermatologist is a person who specializes in preventing, diagnosing, and treating skin diseases. Some perform procedures to improve the appearance of the skin like improving skin tone and decreasing the signs of aging. For that process they use botox and collagen injections. They can also perform minor surgeries to remove legions, warts, moles, and even cancerous cells. One of the most important duties a dermatologist has is to inform and educate how to take care of the skin like what sunscreen to use what shampoo to use etc. Some conditions that dermatologist can help you with are acne, dandruff, and skin cancer.
Salary: $ 185,540
Education: In order to become a dermatologist, you must complete 4 years getting your Bachelor’s degree and another 4 years to get your medical degree. Also you must complete the USMLE exam successfully and must pass the American Board of Dermatology’s Board of Certification. In addition you must meet the licensing requirement for the state you want to work in.
Reflection: I would like to become a dermatologist not only do they win good money but they help people with their skin. The skin is very important and if not treated correctly it can damage. I would like to help people so that they have beautiful skin. It may have a lot of educational requirements but at the end it’s all worth it because you have a good job that pays well.
