Presidents Day
President’s day is an American holiday that is celebrated on the third Monday of February. This day is a holiday because it is Washington’s Birthday. It was traditionally on the 22th of February but it was changed   as part of an act of the Uniform’s Monday Holiday Act in 1971 to give more three day weekends to the national workers. It is usually a holiday to celebrate all of the past presidents of America not just Washington. A few ways to show honor and respect on President’s day is by using patriotic colors and showing the American spirit we have and show that we are thankful for our past presidents and our country.
