Duties and Responsibilities: Health educators teach other people about the behaviors that promote wellness. They collect data and discuss about health concerns with the communities. They also find strategies that help improve the health in a community. They teach people how to cope with or manage existing health conditions, they supervise staff that implement health education programs, collect and analyze data, help people find health services or information and many other things.
Salary: $ 41,830
Education: In order to become a health educator you must have a Bachelor’s degree in health promotions or health education. They also must complete a program that teaches students theories and methods of health education. If you want to work in a federal or state government agency you must have a masters or doctoral degree.
Reflection: I wouldn’t want to become a health educator because it’s a lot of work that you must put in to become one and if you want to win more money and work in a federal agency you must work even harder to obtain your master’s degree. It takes a lot of time to complete this and you still have to take training for a while and I just want to get a job that you can complete fast.
