Heliotherapy
Duties and Responsibilities: Heliotherapy’s are treatments with
natural and artificial light. This can help with skin disorders, chiefly
psoriasis, acne vulgaris, eczema and neonatal jaundice. It can also help the
eye with a light therapy that attacks the retina and is used to treat circadian
rhythm disorders such as late sleep phase disorder and can also be used to
treat seasonal affective disorder, with some support for its use also with
non-seasonal psychiatric disorders.
Reflection: I wouldn’t
want to become a heliotherapist because it seems boring and I had never heard
of this method of treating things. Also it doesn’t show much information of how
to become one and how much it pays.
